System Analysis PG for Headspace Organization - myassignmenthelp

Question: Discuss about theSystem Analysis PG for Headspace Organization. Answer: Introduction Headspace organization is an institution which help individuals with the mental illness especially those experiencing depression and anxiety (Chen, Han, Cao, Jiang Chen, 2013). The organization want to adopt a cloud solution to enable them to capture the information of the patients when they explain their case, and the cloud based while record the data (Ahuja Hristovski, 2013). This system would give access to the successive professionals, to enable the case notes along with the story to become enriched, so that these individuals are assisted appropriately. The cloud based solution has been a resource that will be used in the delivery of the services particularly in the set-up of the Headspace organization. The implementation of this system would be useful to this organization especially in the delivery of the services (Ahuja Hristovski, 2013). Before Headspace implement this system there is need to carry out an assessment and evaluate on the requirement of the organization. Some of the organizations in the health sector do not have a cloud based solution including the Headspace organization. Headspace organization has been encountering many issues especially in the delivery of the services. A mental illness patient should see various professionals before they could get any help. It was observed that they needed to re-tell their story every time and it reached a point when it was harder to tell these professionals so that they can help them. Headspace firm should implement the cloud based application to enable them store relevant data for the mental patients to avoid re-telling their problems again to different professionals. In this research it would carry out the assessment of the cloud based solution that would be implemented by Headspace organization which is the case study organization for our research. Additionally, the study intends to highlights non-functional requirements such as the user interfaces, constraints, system qualities along with the interface system. The research would also focus on the FURPS+ that stands for usability, performance, security and reliability. There would also be need to shows some benefits and drawback that would be associated to the assessment of the cloud computing solution especially to Headspace (Almorsy, Grundy Mller, 2016). The research would also focus on the types of the SDLC approach which are adaptive and the predictive providing each advantage and disadvantage when the business is utilizing. Non-functional requirements to system of Headspace organization The non-functional define on the overall qualities or even the attributes of the resulting system. They comprise of quality attributes, requirements of the product, external interface and constraints of the design. Quality attributes This attribute all about the behavior that influences the system which will be implemented by Headspace business. Additionally, it highlights on the model for the system and the experiences it brings about to the users (Chen, Han, Cao, Jiang Chen, 2013). The system which Headspace organization want to adopt should be of high quality and it needs to function efficiently. This quality attributes comprise of other elements such as the dependability, security along with the usability (Stantchev, Colomo-Palacios Niedermayer, 2014). These aspect usually are found in the layout of the system program. System interface When it comes to the cloud based solution the interface of the system shows the boundaries which exists between the exchanges that occurs between the software (Almorsy, Grundy Mller, 2016). In this system it intends to focus an interface which is friendly to the user so that both the staff and the patient in Headspace organization are able to interact effectively and a proper diagnosis could be provided to them. User interface requirements When it comes to the requirements of the interface it would highlight on what the system of Headspace would display. There are various department in which would be shown in the system and they would be configured to meet the needs of each departments to enable the professionals to provide the best health services. Moreover the interface requirements will be friendly which would enable the health professionals to be able to operate it. System constraints The constraints is all about deterrent of what could make the system not to work efficiently. In this system it is intended to function on a twenty four hour basis. The constraint could come about that make the system fail. Use of FURP+ In this aspect it highlight components such as usability requirements, reliability requirements, performance requirements, and the security requirements. Usability requirements In this requirement the system which would be adopted in Headspace it will focus on how it meets the needs of the users (Almorsy, Grundy Mller, 2016). There would be a need to have a system which will be accessed easily by the users and the health professional so that they could provide proper medication to the patients (Almorsy, Grundy Mller, 2016). An inspection would be carried out to make sure that the system performs effectively and all the issues which may arise are handled. Reliability requirements The requirement focus how the cloud system will meet the needs of Headspace. The system should work effectively without any hitches to the increase of the volume of data. The health professionals would have easy access to the data of the patients and offer proper medication to these individuals. Performance requirements Performance requirements focus on how the health professional in Headspace would be able to discharge different duties using the system and it can perform efficiently. In this system it will be cloud based therefore the delivery of the services would be fast and effective. The system will be connected to the users such as the health professionals who can be able to look at the history of a client when they view their information in the system. Security requirements This aspect is the major which will be identified in the system. This is a cloud based solution therefore the issue of security is the biggest concern because if the system is compromised the data would end up in the wrong hands which would result to breach of confidentiality of the data of the patients. The system which Headspace would adopt would have encryptions on the data as well as other security measures would be employed. The review of the cloud based solution The review of the cloud based on the strengths and weaknesses will take into consideration the environment of the Headspace which will be deployed. Advantages The system will help in the reduction of the costs: If Headspace adopt on the system it would help reduction of the cost such as the one associated to the purchase of the software and the hardware (Pai Chatterjee, 2014). This is a cloud based solution therefore, there is a third party who is involved to manage the system. The costs on hardware and software are shifted to the provider. The system will offer scalability: The headspace organization will only pay for the services they will use. The third party will be responsible for these cost (Soman, 2011). Issues on the upgrade will be done by the provider of the system. The system will provide a strategic edge to the organization: The headspace firm would have opportunity when it comes to the deployment of the cloud based solution to their business model and this will help in efficient delivery of the services, to the mental-ill patients who will not need to re-tell their stories to different health professionals to be able to access the services (Pai Chatterjee, 2014). The system will have all the information about the patients, therefore, the health professional will only need to refer to each case and how their progress is going and continue to provide diagnosis. Disadvantages There is issue of the security in the system: The system may be prone to the security issues. When Headspace organization implement this system; they will provide access to part of their corporate data to the third parties; the data could be compromised in the process which would cost the business a lot of issues. The organization could be sued for not keeping their information secure. The patient would not shift the blame to the third party but Headspace will be responsible. The issue of ownership as well as mobility of the data: The third party provider sub-contracted to provide this system may not offer totality to the security of the data (Milano, 2013). Some time when the data gets destroyed due to breach in the system; they may not be in a position to offer backup on the same. How the data would be kept secure: For the Headspace to keep their data secure from any breach; they would need to have an obligation which is enforceable especially to the third parties who provide the services so that there is maintenance of confidentiality and security of the data (Milano, 2013). Moreover, there would be in a position to incorporate technology which would safe guard them against any attacker who might penetrate the system. Predictive SDLC approach In this approach it is used especially when an organization is examining the current data or perhaps the trends to enable them understand fully the needs of the clients as well as identify the risk along with the opportunities (Rodrigues, De La Torre, Fernndez Lpez-Coronado, 2013). In this approach the following are the advantages and the disadvantages. Pros On the first advantage of this approach is that is easy to use. An individual has the capability of managing any particular project since the methods is much easy (Kaur Chana, 2014). Moreover, this method advocate that the steps of the project to be undertaken at the various intervals to enable the client to see the progress of a given project; rather than see the whole project at once. Cons The disadvantage which has been associated with this project is that in case the client needed changes in the scope or even the adjustments of the lifecycle of the project when it will end it become impossible and an issue (Kaur Chana, 2014). Additionally, the functionality of the program of a particular project might not produce all the result until the project ends. Adaptive approach The utilizing of this approach focuses on the ability of a given team to be in a position of adopting any kind of changes based on the requirements of the clients (Hashizume, Rosado, Fernndez-Medina Fernandez, 2013). The use of this particular approach is much useful when servicing an oriented project which may require some improvements. Pros One advantage of this method is that it saves time and there is much consistency especially in the design of the interface of the project (Sultan, 2014). Additionally, the method could allow the clients to be involved in the project from the initial step until its completion. Cons The major disadvantage of use of this method is that it might be impossible for one to produce the codes which could be reusable since this techniques does not have any stoppage point for the project (Sultan, 2014). Moreover, there could be difference in the deliverable which is generated in the project, which could total change on the objective of the project. Recommendations The best approach that Headspace could utilize is that of Adaptive SDLC method. This particular approach is best since it is more useful for the project which are developing rapidly such as the adaptation of the cloud based solution. In this system it could change a lot in the scope depending on the future demand of the institution. This method is more significant to the project that are innovative in nature and Headspace organization is such project. References Ahuja, S., Hristovski, K. (2013). Preface.
